Russian actor and director Mikhail Kokshenov has died of a coronavirus at the age of 83.

Axar.az informs this was reported by TASS.

"Yes, we called his wife and she confirmed it," the statement said.

Mikhail Kokshenov has acted in more than 130 films since 1957.
