Our country ratified the Paris Agreement in October 2016. The Paris Agreement defines the obligations of countries based on the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).

According to the National Contribution Document, Azerbaijan aims to reduce the level of greenhouse gas emissions by 35 percent by 2030 compared to the base year (1990).
