The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has reiterated that the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will not be held in Ukraine.

Axar.az informs that this is stated in the official information on the website of the EBRD.

"The public fully understands the disappointment of the EBU organizers over Ukraine's refusal to host the tournament. The priority for the EBRD was to ensure the safety of all those working and participating in the event, ”the statement said.

It should be noted that due to the war in Ukraine, the organization proposed to hold the next competition elsewhere. According to the report, an appeal has already been made to Britain, which took second place in Eurovision-2022.
