Maxim Galkin will be sentenced to 7 years in prison

A criminal case has been opened against Maxim Galkin, who was fired from Russia's First Channel and went to Israel for criticizing the war.

Axar.az reports that Russian MP Roman Khudyakov informed about this.

According to him, Galkin may be detained while giving a concert in Turkey on July 28 and handed over to Russia:

"Taking into account all that has been said and public protests, Maxim Galkin will be sentenced to about 7 years in prison, excluding the time he will spend in the pre-trial detention center until the verdict is issued."

He is accused of spreading so-called fake information about the Russian army.
