Angelina Jolie is leaving her post at the UN

The famous American actress Angelina Jolie will leave her position as the special representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Axar.az reports that this was announced in a joint statement by UNHCR and the actress.

It was noted that the actress has been cooperating with the UNHCR since 2001, and was appointed a special representative of the organization in 2012. Together with the employees of the international organization, he has carried out more than 60 field missions, including in Yemen and Burkina Faso.
