Musician, composer, and founder of the Boney M group Frank Farian (real name Franz Reuter) died at the age of 83.

Axar.az reports that according to information, F. Farian died at his home in Miami.

It should be noted that the composer created the group "Frankie Farian und die Schatten" in 1961 and performed with him in local restaurants and dance clubs. The group gained fame in 1964 when it participated in the international rock festival in Hamburg. He started his solo career in 1968. But since the mid-1970s, the musician began to pay attention to pop music.

It should be noted that he is the author of the hits of the Boney M group such as "Rasputin" and "Daddy Cool".
