The Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company announced the participant's name who will represent Azerbaijan in the Eurovision-2024 international song contest. This year, Fahree-Fakhri Ismayilov will represent our country in Malmö, Sweden.

Axar.az reports that this year the selection process consisted of 2 main stages.

In the first stage, the participants performed their songs live in front of a jury of local music and stage professionals. As a result of the local jury voting, 6 out of 15 performers could go to the international jury voting. Fahree was the voting leader and was awarded the title of Azerbaijan's Eurovision representative in 2024.

It should be noted that, unlike previous years, each performer participated in this year's selections with the song they wanted to perform on the Eurovision stage. The winning song reflects the synthesis of modern pop and traditional ethnic elements.

The semi-final stages of the "Eurovision-2024" song contest, which will be held in Malmö, Sweden, will take place on May 7 and 9 this year, and the final stage will take place on May 11. As a result of the draw, Azerbaijan will play in the 1st semi-final this year.
