American composer Alf Clausen, 85, has died at his home in Los Angeles.
Axar.az reports that the composer's daughter, Kaarin, informed journalists about this.
According to her, about 8 years ago, the composer was diagnosed with "progressive supranuclear palsy." His daughter did not specify whether the disease in question caused his death.
Recall that Alf Clausen was known for the music he composed for the TV series "Alf" broadcast in 1986-1990 and the popular animated series "The Simpsons", which has been running since 1989 to this day. He worked on the musical accompaniment of "The Simpsons" between 1990 and 2017. Clausen was awarded the Emmy Award for the songs he wrote for this series in 1997 and 1998.
The composer has also written the music for several well-known television projects.
