Second Turkic states NGO Forum held in Baku

Today, the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States has kicked off in Baku, organized by Azerbaijan’s Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations and in partnership with the Platform of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.

Axar.az reports that representatives of civil society from 8 countries — Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary — will participate in the Forum held within the framework of “Baku Urban Week”.

Within the framework of the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, the 1st Cooperation Forums of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan-TRNC NGOs will also be held for the first time.

Note that this is already the second time in the past 7 months that NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States have gathered in Azerbaijan.
