Axar.az informs that Aleksandar Vucic thanked Azerbaijan for hosting WUF13 and for organizing innovative initiatives for the first time at the summit level. He emphasized that this contributes to realizing the full potential of the World Urban Forum. “It is no coincidence that this country, located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, is hosting a forum focused on addressing issues of urbanization and urban planning.”

He noted that ensuring accessible and safe housing for everyone involves business circles, non-governmental organizations, governments, and private entities, and stressed that thousands of participants gathered in Baku to discuss the future of cities and urban development challenges.
