Turkic States sign urban development memorandum

Within the framework of the High-Level Urban Dialogue of the Turkic States Organization, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of urban planning, territorial planning and sustainable urban development was signed at the Azerbaijan Pavilion between the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye and Uzbekistan.

Axar.az reports, citing the official Facebook page of World Urban Forum 13, that the document covers the following areas:

Exchange of experience in the field of urban planning and territorial planning, application of digital and "smart" city solutions, artificial intelligence and geographic information systems technologies, promotion of the concept of "green" cities and climate sustainability, cooperation in the field of architectural education and professional training, implementation of joint projects, forums and research initiatives.

This memorandum is of great importance in terms of forming a common approach to sustainable urban development based on the principles of innovation, environmental responsibility and protection of cultural heritage.
