Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov on Wednesday met with the delegation headed by Chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Rashad Mahmood, the ministry told.
The minister praised the level of bilateral cooperation in preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences, noting that mutual visits and meetings will help strengthen this cooperation further. Kemaleddin Heydarov then spoke about the ministry’s activities, saying that cooperation with Pakistan’s relevant bodies has vast prospects.
In his turn, General Rashad Mahmood said bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations in preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences is of high importance to Pakistan, noting that the body he is in charge of is interested to share experience in this area.
The sides then exchanged ideas on a number of issues of mutual interest.
After the meeting, the guests visited the ministry’s Crisis Management Center, Operational Hall, and Multimedia center.
