During the May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day demonstrations in Istanbul, police and participants clashed.

According to information, thousands of demonstrators gathered in Sarachhane Park.

The police interfered with the rally participants who wanted to march to Taksim Square. As a result of the clash between the parties, many policemen were injured.

It should be noted that RPP leader Ozgur Ozel and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu also participated in today's demonstrations.

210 people who entered Taksim Square in Istanbul and attempted to attack police officers were detained.
