Explosion in residential building leaves 1 dead -

An explosion occurred in a residential building in Cherkessk, Russia, due to a gas leak.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.

The report states that one person has died, and nine others have sustained injuries of varying degrees.

"At the scene, 92 personnel and 29 vehicles are working. Fifty-two people have been evacuated from the building and will be relocated to a temporary shelter," the ministry announced.
