Turkiye congratulates Azerbaijan on Baku’s 107th liberation

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has congratulated Azerbaijan on the 107th anniversary of Baku’s liberation from Armenian-Bolshevik occupation.

Axar.az informs the ministry shared a message on its X account:

“On the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the liberation of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, we warmly congratulate our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters.

We remember all the martyrs who gave their lives for independence with mercy, gratitude, and respect," the message read.

Notably, On September 15, 1918, Azerbaijani and Turkish soldiers liberated Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak occupation, marking a proud day in the history of the Azerbaijani state.
