Moldova’s Sandu warns of Russian election interference

The Russian Federation is reviewing its strategy following the recent elections in the region and will continue to interfere in the political processes of various countries, including the Republic of Moldova.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

According to Sandu, Moscow is focusing on other countries where elections are expected, trying to maintain its control and influence in the post-Soviet space and even in developed democratic countries:

“The Russian Federation is still refining its strategy. They did not expect such outcomes and are now trying to revise their plans. They will focus on other countries where elections will be held. For example, elections will take place in Armenia next year, and they will try to restore control over the government there,” she said.
