Ukraine will sooner or later have to return to dialogue with Russia.

Axar.az informs this was stated by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry about the halt of negotiations.

“The Ukrainian side, in light of such statements, should know that sooner or later it will have to negotiate, but from much worse positions. These positions of the Kyiv regime are deteriorating day by day,” Peskov emphasized.

On Wednesday, in an interview with British daily The Times, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya cited a lack of meaningful progress during the negotiations that concluded earlier this year.

"Since the peace talks ended this year without significant progress, they have been suspended," he said.
