Kremlin says it hopes for new Putin-Trump summit

A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump is possible only after thorough preparation—once the necessary conditions are in place. Moscow is interested in holding it as soon as possible, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

Axar.az informs the Kremlin representative stressed the need for meticulous planning. “As soon as this preparation is completed and the conditions for the summit are created, we hope it will take place,” Peskov noted.

“Right now, it is difficult to predict when these conditions will be met. Although, of course, we are all interested in them being met sooner rather than later,” the spokesman added.
