Russia halts military cooperation with Germany and 9 others

The Russian Ministry of Defense has obtained government approval to cancel 10 military cooperation agreements and corresponding memoranda signed with several European countries between 1992 and 2002.

Axar.az reports that this information was published on Russia’s official legal information portal.

The list of agreements being canceled by the Russian Ministry of Defense includes “military cooperation” treaties with Germany, Poland, Romania, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium, and the Czech Republic, as well as a memorandum signed between the defense ministries of Russia and the United Kingdom.

Previously, Russia had already suspended military-technical cooperation with Germany.
