Overnight, the Israeli Air Force, acting on intelligence, carried out a large-scale wave of strikes targeting the Iranian Air Force and the IRGC Air Force at three airports in Tehran, Bahram Airport, Mehrabad Airport, Azmayesh Airport

Axar.az reports, citing IDF Telegram channel, Mehrabad Airport, which has been targeted previously during Operation Roaring Lion, is reportedly used by the IRGC’s Quds Force and serves as a hub for arming and financing groups aligned with the Iranian regime.

Aircraft carrying weapons and large sums of cash have departed from this airport for destinations across the region, according to the statement.

The IDF stated it will continue operations aimed at degrading the capabilities of the Iranian Air Force and related infrastructure.
