Another group of Ukrainian children arrives in Azerbaijan

group of Ukrainian children has arrived in Azerbaijan for psychological and wellness rehabilitation.

Axar.az reports, according to Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, the group consists of 29 Ukrainian children and 3 accompanying staff members, making it the third such group to arrive in Azerbaijan in 2026.

The children are from the Ivaniv Lyceum in the Chernihiv region and survived the occupation and its consequences. The visit aims to provide medical and psychological support, as well as recovery in a safe environment, Husyev stated.

Husyev noted that since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, a total of 545 Ukrainian children have undergone rehabilitation in Azerbaijan.
