Iran retaliates against US naval aggression in Gulf of Oman

Iran’s military has vowed to respond after a US destroyer on Sunday fired on an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman that tried to evade a US naval blockade.

Axar.az informs, citing Tasnim, the spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters stated that the latest act of “piracy” by US military forces against an Iranian trade vessel will soon be met with retaliation.

“Iranian forces launched drone strikes on US military vessels in the Gulf of Oman after American terrorists attacked an Iranian container ship, the Toska, en route from China to Iran,” Tasnim said on X.
