Dozens of Israelis detained at Moscow airport

Russian security forces detained and questioned at least 40 Israeli citizens after they arrived from Tel Aviv at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport on April 19.

Axar.az reports, citing Mediazona, among those detained were both dual Israeli-Russian citizens and Israelis without Russian passports.

They were reportedly held for around five hours without food, water, or access to toilets.

The detainees were then interrogated. According to the source, some were questioned about the war with Iran.

After about five hours, the detainees were gradually released after signing warning documents, apparently confirming they had been informed of the “inadmissibility of violating the law.”
