Pashinyan confirms reunion with Anna Hakobyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan confirmed on Thursday that he is reuniting with his former wife Anna Hakobyan.

Axar.az informs that when Nikol Pashinyan was asked at a press briefing whether he had reunited with Anna Hakobyan, he said that when Anna made her statement, he respected her decision but did not say he was at peace with it.

“When Anna made her statement, I said that I respect that decision, but I did not say that I was at peace with it. And, naturally, with that logic, I also made efforts to ensure that the event you are referring to would take place, and I am glad that it is happening, and I am glad that I now have another chance for our family to remain together,” Pashinyan stated.

Anna Hakobyan announced her separation from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in February 2026. The couple were never legally married and had been in a common-law relationship for nearly thirty years, but she was widely referred to as Pashinyan’s wife.
