US military kills two in strike on alleged drug boat -

On April 24, the U.S. military carried out a lethal strike on a vessel in the Eastern Pacific.

Axar.az informs that the information was released by U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) on its official X account.

The operation was conducted under the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan by Joint Task Force Southern Spear. The vessel was reportedly operated by designated terrorist organizations.

“Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. Two male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No U.S. military forces were harmed,” the statement reads.
