US no longer in position to ‘dictate’ policy to other nations

Iran said on Tuesday that the United States is no longer in a position to dictate its policies to independent nations.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that this was stated by Defense Ministry spokesman Reza Talaei-Nik during a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s Defence Ministers in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

"Iran’s resistance has made this clear globally and that Washington must accept the need to abandon what he called unlawful and irrational demands," he noted.
