Iran's plan for peace talks submitted; ball in US court

Iranian deputy foreign minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that Iran has submitted its proposal for peace talks with the United States to the Pakistani mediator.

Axar.az informs, citing IRIB, Gharibabadi made the remarks during a meeting with foreign ambassadors in Tehran, briefing them on Iran's latest proposal to end the war with the United States and Israel.

“Now the ball is in the United States’ court to choose the path of diplomacy or the continuation of a confrontational approach,” he said, adding, “Iran, with the aim of securing its national interests and security, is prepared for both paths.”
