Light aircraft crashes in Russia’s Omsk region, killing two

A light aircraft has crashed in Russia’s Omsk Oblast while conducting forest fire monitoring operations, killing two people.

Axar.az reports, that the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office states that the “Aeroprakt-22” aircraft operated by LLC “Aviabaza” went down near the village of Koshkarevo in the Azov German National District during aerial work.

The aircraft was reportedly carrying out aviation monitoring tasks when it crashed. Law enforcement sources confirmed that two people were killed in the incident.
