Nikol Pashinyan will not attend Victory Day parade

Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan will not attend the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9 due to the start of Armenia’s parliamentary election campaign.

Axar.az reports that Pashinyan said he informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about his decision during his April visit to Russia.

“During my visit to the Russian Federation in April, I informed the President of Russia that because of the election campaign I would not be able to attend the events on May 9,” he said.
