Erdogan: Turkish army is the army of peace

Turkiye, we will continue to stand for peace and stability against those who invest in war and chaos.

Axar.az informs that this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at EFES-2026 Combined, Joint, and Live-Fire Field Exercise in the western city of Izmir.

"We will resolutely continue to defend the shared values of humanity against networks of genocide that massacre children, women, and the elderly without distinction in Gaza, Lebanon, and other parts of our region," Erdogan stressed.

“The Turkish army is the army of peace. The Turkish army is the army of tranquility. The Turkish army is the army of stability."

Erdogan noted that throughout history, the Turkish army has never destroyed wherever it has gone; on the contrary, it has repaired what was destroyed:

"Even in the harshest conditions, our army has harmed no person, living being, tree, or city other than enemy elements; instead, it has rebuilt and restored devastated places."

"The Turkish army is not only the guarantee of the security of its country and nation, but also one of the most important guarantors of regional and global peace, tranquility, and stability. I believe that the messages conveyed by the EFES-2026 Exercise should be understood very well in this regard,” he said.
