21 die from heatstroke in one day in India

A whopping 21 people died of heatstroke across various parts of Andhra Pradesh, India, on Friday alone, and Vijayawada saw the highest number of such fatal incidents at 10.

Axar.az reports, citing ETV Bharat, among the deceased, two are ordinary citizens, while the remaining eight are unknown beggars, police said.

Upon receiving a call from locals, the 108 emergency services team transported them to a government hospital, where doctors confirmed that the persons had already passed away, they added.
