Aleksandar Vucic says he may resign soon

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that he may soon resign, while also disputing claims about the size of the previous night’s protest at Belgrade’s Slavija Square.

Axar.az informs, citing N1, speaking to reporters in Beijing at the start of his visit to China, Vucic said his mandate was nearing its end and that he would not shorten it in the same way former President Boris Tadic once did.

“It is possible that I will soon submit my resignation,” Vucic said.

It should be noted that Aleksandar Vucic’s presidential term is set to end in the spring of 2027.
