Russia hits Turkish-owned cargo ship in Black Sea - Photo

Russian forces struck a Turkish-owned cargo ship in the Black Sea with a drone.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by the Ukrainian Navy.

According to the report, the strike caused a fire on board the vessel and left two crew members injured.

Ukrainian Navy and Maritime Search and Rescue units managed to quickly contain the fire. The injured crew members were evacuated and taken to hospital.

During the overnight attack, the Russian army used attack drones against the ANT cargo ship, which sails under the flag of Vanuatu. The vessel, owned by a Turkish company, was transporting cargo from one of the ports in the Odesa region to Turkiye.
