Kremlin reviews Zelensky’s letter to Putin

The Kremlin has seen the open letter sent by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement.

“Yes, we saw it. He published it during an event attended by the president. The president has not yet had the opportunity to read it,” Peskov said.

Peskov added that he had personally reviewed the letter.

“I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with it,” he said.

According to Peskov, Putin will be briefed on the letter after the working visit of the President of Uzbekistan concludes.

Peskov also said that Zelensky can come to Moscow at any time if he wishes to meet with Putin.

“President Putin has said that if Zelensky wants to talk, he can come to Moscow and do so,” he stated.

It should be noted that Zelensky previously sent an open letter to Putin proposing a meeting in a third country.
