One killed in explosion at Kyiv postal terminal

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an explosion at a postal terminal in Kyiv's Obolon district that left one person dead and two others injured.

Axar.az reports that according to Ukrainian media, the incident occurred this morning at the sorting center of a postal operator in the Ukrainian capital.

According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred while one of the parcels was being inspected. A 59-year-old man was killed in the blast, while two others, aged 37 and 41, sustained injuries.

Investigators, bomb disposal experts from Kyiv police, emergency responders, and medical personnel are currently working at the scene.
