Ruling party takes clear lead in Armenian election

Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party is leading in the parliamentary elections.

Axar.az informs, according to the party’s website Civic News, exit poll data from the “Civic Contract” survey shows the party has received 56.7% of the vote.

The Strong Armenia Party, led by Russian-Armenian businessman Karapetyan, has secured 17.5%.

Parliamentary elections were held in Armenia today.
