Simonyan: I speak with Hajiyev every two days

Armenian Security Council Secretary Alen Simonyan said he speaks with Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev every two days.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that Simonyan made the remarks while speaking about Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.

“Yes, I spoke with Hajiyev. I have his number, and he has mine. We speak every two days,” Simonyan said.

“The essence of the conversation was that everything possible must be done to preserve the peace process,” he added.
