Boko Haram attacked Nigeria: 18 dead and 21 wounded

Boko Haram terrorists have attacked Nigeria's northeastern state of Borno.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Borno State Governor Babaganan Umar Zulum.

As a result of the attack, 18 people were killed and 21 were injured. Many terrorists were neutralized in the operations.

Nigerian army spokesman Mohammad Yerima said an air and ground operation had been launched against Boko Haram in the Mobbar district of Borno state.

He said many Boko Haram members were killed during the operation and that terrorist hideout was destroyed.
