Georgia plans to open land borders

The Georgian government plans to open its land borders.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Georgia's Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natela Turnava.

According to him, the opening of the land borders will take place after the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

"It is planned to open the land borders, but it must coincide with the passage of the third wave. This is also a matter of a few weeks," Turnava said.

Note that Georgia's land and sea borders have been closed since March 2020. The air border will be open from February 1, 2021.
