A pro-Russian party won in Slovakia

The pro-Russian "Smer SD" Party of ex-prime minister Robert Fitson is leading in yesterday's extraordinary parliamentary elections in Slovakia.

Axar.az reports that the Slovak press wrote about it.

According to information, 99.5 percent of the votes have been counted and "Smer SD" Party is the leader with 22.95 percent of votes. The Progressive Slovakian Party, headed by the vice-speaker of the European Parliament, Michal Šmeč, got 17.96 percent of the votes, and the Voice Party of former Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini got 14.71 percent of the votes.
