The perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Russian "Crocus City Hall" were recruited through the "Voice of Khorasan" Telegram channel, which belongs to the Afghan wing of ISIS and works for the Tajik audience.

Axar.az reports that a source familiar with the situation told "RIA Novosti".

"And now this Telegram channel has been deleted for reasons unknown to the source. This channel is launched neither from Russia nor from Tajikistan," the source said.

It is noted that, according to the information given by the authorized officer of the Federal Security Service in February 2023, the activation of "Khorasan Province" in Afghanistan coincided with the implementation of covert operations by the United States in this country after the departure of the American contingent. In October 2023, Alexander Bortnikov, director of the Federal Security Service, reported on the participation of the American and British intelligence services in the creation of a "belt of stability" in Afghanistan near the southern borders of the CIS. At the same time, he emphasized that "Khorasan Province" is strengthening its potential and as a result, it can carry out terrorist acts outside of Afghanistan.
