White House officials have not shared with their Russian counterparts all information about the planned terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, fearing that Moscow could expose information from US special services and their intelligence methods.
Axar.az informs that the "New York Times" reported on this.
"Fears that Russian authorities might learn about US intelligence sources or methods, and hostile relations between Washington and Moscow, have prevented White House officials from sharing information about the terror plot. According to senior US officials, in recent months, Washington has been closely monitoring the activities of the ISIS extremist group. During the monitoring involving electronic eavesdropping, informants and other means, the American operatives obtained quite specific information about the plans for a terrorist attack in Russia," the information said.
