Jordan has confirmed its role in shooting down Iranian drones and missiles in Jordanian airspace.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Huseyn Abdulla al-Safadi.

"We will strike at any means that threatens our people, violates our sovereignty and is a threat to Jordanians, and we have made this clear to both Israel and Iran. "We intercepted Iranian anti-aircraft missiles and missiles coming from Iraq, passing over southern Jordan and the city of Aqaba, and moving towards the port of Eilat," he said.

It should be noted that Mehdi Saadati, a member of the National Security Commission of the Iranian Parliament, threatened Jordan because it cooperated with Israel.
