Australia has called on its citizens to leave Israel.

Axar.az reports that this was reported on page X of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Australia.

"There is a possibility of military retaliation and terrorist attacks against Israel and Israeli interests throughout the region. The security situation can deteriorate rapidly. We call on Australians who are in the territories of Israel and Palestine to leave the region," the ministry emphasized.

Meanwhile, Australians living in the region have been warned of the possibility of airspace closures, flight cancellations and other travel disruptions.

It should be recalled that Israel launched airstrikes on military facilities in several regions of Iran in the morning of April 19.
