The Coordinating Council of Trade Union Organizations of Iranian Education Workers has called on teachers to hold a mass protest in all cities of the country.

Axar.az reports that this was shared on the Council's social media network.

The action is planned to be held on May 1, at 10 am local time.

In the call, teachers were asked to gather in front of the local branches of the Planning and Budget Organization in Tehran, and in other cities of the Ministry of Education.

It was stated that the goal of the action is the liberation of imprisoned teachers, the restoration of the rights of fired teachers, and the cessation of repression against education workers.
