French President Emmanuel Macron's statements about his readiness to send troops to Ukraine are nonsense. The French army is not capable of the battle that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently conducting.

Axar.az reports that this was said by retired French general Christophe Gomart.

"Macron has a lot of words, but little action behind them. In fact, in this case, we can read three messages. A message to the French: "Be careful, we can go there." A message to other European countries: "It seems that we need to rearm." But France did not do it, so let's keep calm.

The third message is addressed to the Russians: "Be careful how far you go, because eventually we will be ready to stop you or try to," he said.

According to Gomart, no practical steps have yet been taken by Macron to prepare for the hypothetical possibility of the French army entering Ukraine.
