The Georgian government must change its course.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the head of the press service of the US State Department, Matthew Miller.

"We are very concerned about the actions taken against those who objected to the draft law (the draft law on foreign agents - ed.) and the work done in the direction of its approval. We are aware of reports of increased cases of harassment and use of physical force against civil society representatives, opposition activists and journalists. We condemn this and call for an immediate full investigation," he said.

According to Miller, the US is ready to continue cooperation with Georgia:

"But the Georgian government should change its course for this."
