If Bagrat Galstanyan wants to run for prime minister, he and his political team will have to wait until 2026.
Axar.az reports that this was said by Andranik Kocharyan, the head of the Armenian Parliament's Commission on Defense and National Security, a member of the ruling Civilian Contract Party.
"Rev. Bagrat will not get even half a vote in the Civil Agreement faction," Kocharyan said in his statement on the issue of impeachment.
It should be noted that the signatures of 36 deputies are needed to start the impeachment process of Pashinyan. The opposition has 35 parliamentary mandates. In order to present the draft resolution, a deputy from the ruling party must also join the opposition.
