Situation in Pokrovsk Improving but Stabilization Needed

The situation towards Pokrovsk has been improving over the last few days, but we need to wait for stabilization.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement while commenting on the recent situation in the Pokrovsk direction.

The President noted that it is too early to discuss the situation there:

“The situation there is important, so I do not want to speak prematurely. We will discuss this when everything is fully stabilized.”

It is noted that the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced two days ago that the Russians' advance towards Pokrovsk had been halted.

He admitted that Ukraine was under significant pressure in the area around Pokrovsk. However, in the past six days, the Russians have not advanced a single meter in the Pokrovsk direction, and Ukraine’s strategy is working.
