In the event of a potential conflict with Israel, Tehran has the right to defend itself.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

"For the past 20 years, Turkiye has been actively working to ensure peace and to stop conflicts. Therefore, we are in no way supporters of any conflict that could escalate into war with Iran. We are completely against it, but on the other hand, if Iran is engaged in self-defense, of course, that is its right,' Fidan stated."
